Dog-Ed is doggedly committed to customized, real-life results for dog owners. Jenny White CPDT-KA, Dog-Ed owner and Certified Pet Dog Trainer, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this endeavor. She has worked professionally with dogs for over 10 years and studied under some of the top national dog trainers, including Gina Phairas, Sue Sternberg, and Pia Silvani.  Being a true professional, Jenny is dedicated to continuing education by attending seminars, workshops, and digging into training books (Recommended Reading List).  Jenny is currently an Open Paw Instructor at the Asheville Humane Society and founder and leader of the Hiking Hounds shelter program. Jenny’s favorite work, however, is finding training solutions that meet her clients’ busy lifestyles.

Jenny shares her life with Wrigley a terrier type and dedicates her work to Nalya, the dog who got her into to training and Mogley who taught her that dogs are one of the most special creatures on the planet.

Dog-Ed believes that dog training should be fun for both humans and dogs. Our force-free methods are focused on positive reinforcement and scientific principles. These training techniques help strengthen the human and animal bond by building trust, respect, and understanding. We are both human and dog friendly! We use clickers!
